· Invited speaker to Auckland University 3rd year Planning Students on Sediment Control Practices, June 2005.

· ARC Sediment Team representative at local body meetings; Otara Community Liaison Group and Otara Community Board; Feb 2005 – Aug 2006.

· Provided sediment and stream-works’ input to hearing report and attended consent hearing for Auckland International Airport Ltd., Sept 2005.

· ARC Sediment Team representative for forestry operations within the Auckland region May – Sept 2006.

· Assisted with EIF (Environmental Initiatives Fund) application assessments recommending, or otherwise, financial contribution to be awarded to each project, Aug 2005 & Aug 2006.

· Provided on-going technical input to ARC’s Strategic Policy Team on sediment related matters consequential to further growth within the Auckland regions’ southern sectors, Jan 2005 – Sept 2006.

Project Management

· Project Managed set up of educational day for ARC’s Contractor’s Workshop; including securing guest speakers, venue, equipment, refreshments and sponsors, May2005 & 2006 – Sept 2005 & 2006.

· Managed a six member team of external consultants on a day to day basis to ensure all aspects of the Sediment Teams’ expectations & responsibilities were being successfully met, Jan 2005 – Sept 2006.

· Project managed the creation of a “Flagged Consent System” for North Shore City Council to assist  resource consent monitoring of all environmentally sensitive or possible contentious development sites within heritage, coastal conservation, greenfield, brown-field and rural activity zones, Dec 1997-Dec 1999.

· Managed an exotic insect trapping survey line implemented to aid in the detection of insect pests assisting in the protection of California’s agriculture, Mar – Nov 1992.
